Waterbessie Lodge manage a self catering house in the prestigious Marloth Park. Marloth Park is a small town, full of wild life, situated in Mpumalanga with the Crocodile River separating it from Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is about 420km from Pretoria and the turnoff is 20km after Malelane on the N4 to Mozambique. The most significant thing about Marloth Park is that the wild animals roams freely around the houses. Animals to be seen around the houses: Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck, Nyala, Hyena, Reed Buck, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Warthogs, Duiker, Zebra, Mongooses, baboons and monkeys. Elephant, Rhino, Lions, Buffalo and Hippo's can also often be seen down at the river. Hundreds of different bird species can also be admired. These is only a small number of animals one can find in Marloth Park making it an absolute "must" to visit it!
